RECTOR’S ANNOUNCEMENT

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear Academic Teachers and Staff Members,
Dear Students and Doctoral Students,

in view of the current epidemic situation, I recommend that employees, students and doctoral students of the University undergo vaccination against SARS-CoV-2.
Vaccination gives a chance of a safe return to normality, without continuous uncertainty about tomorrow. In the time of pandemic, with the need to maintain a strict sanitary regime, to take care not only of oneself, but also of others, vaccination is one of the chances to effectively protect oneself against severe disease, complications or death.
I would like to emphasize that vaccines are not only effective protection, but also an opportunity to continue full-time education throughout the academic year, without the need to undergo quarantine in the event of discovering an illness in the immediate vicinity.
Therefore I recommend to consider getting vaccinated against COVID-19, because only our collective action can stabilise the existing situation.
